Central Pennsylvania Friends of Jazz presents Friends of Jazz Night on Friday, September 6, 2019 at the Dauphin County Jazz & Wine Festival. This year's headliner is New York Guitar Summit, featuring guitarists Mark Whitfield and Ed Cherry, organist Pat Bianchi, and drummer Byron Landham. Their decades of combined experience make this a show not to be missed! Alphonso Horne and the Gotham Kings open the concert with "music of Louis Armstrong and the King Oliver Creole Jazz Band, weaving the sounds of New Orleans into a rich musical fabric that uplifts and warms the soul."
